*Caitlyn Jenner rocked a white Versace gown to accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award Wednesday night at the ESPYS. The transgender star told the audience “Trans people deserve something vital, they deserve your respect.”

Despite mainstream encouragement to accept Caitlyn as the most courageous human of our generation, many, including celebrities, have been vocal about their disapproval and dismay at Jenner’s lifestyle choice. Steve Harvey, producer Peter Berg and now Evander Holyfield have publicly expressed how they are not moved by Caitlyn’s so called ‘courage.’

When an Associated Press reporter asked Holyfield for his opinion on Caitlyn, Holyfield replied, “I just know that’s Bruce Jenner and I’ll leave it at that.”

During an interview with HipHollywood back in April, Steve Harvey shared his thoughts on former Olympian Bruce Jenner coming out as transgender.

“Everyone says it’s the bravest thing they have ever seen. So that’s the politically correct thing to say,” Steve said. “I can’t wrap my mind around it all. Zero. I have no concept of what that means. Nothing negative. He has every right to live his life the way he wants to, but I can’t come in the house and make that announcement to my wife, my children.”

After Jenner’s award acceptance and passionate speech at the ESPY’s, Berg criticized the choice with an Instagram post in which he shared a photo of Army veteran Gregory Gadson, who played a role in Berg’s “Battleship,” alongside a photo of Jenner. The caption reads: “One Man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs. Guess which Man made the cover of Vanity Fair, was praised for his courage by President Obama and is to be honored with the ‘Arthur Ashe Courage Award’ by ESPN?”
