*Meek Mill went off on Twitter yesterday claiming Drake doesn’t write his own lyrics, but the rapper ended up apologizing just hours later.
During a performance in Virginia on July 22, Meek issued an apology to Drake
Taking a break between songs, the rapper told the crowd that he was “upset as a fan” because Drake sang a verse on his album that he didn’t write. “Shoutout to Drake,” he added, though. “Let him be great in all the motherf—ing lanes he is great in.”
But, more importantly, it seemed that Meek really wanted to say sorry to his fiancé, Nicki Minaj, 32, who apparently didn’t appreciate his rant against her good friend. “I wanted to give a special apology shoutout to Nicki Minaj for my crazy ass going crazy on Twitter,” he said, when Nicki joined him onstage. “We can’t be messing with some hood s—.”

The drama began late at night on July 21, when Meek tweeted, “Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” Drake caught wind of what was said, but according to his response, he wasn’t taking anything Meek said too seriously.
Rapper Hitman Holla took to Instagram to share a photo of a screenshot of his direct messages with Drizzy, in which the “Take Care” rapper wrote, “I signed up for greatness. This comes with it.”
