*Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s ‘relationship’ has lasted longer than we expected. Although Meek recently gave Minaj a 15-carat yellow diamond engagement ring, we heard she  purchased the ring herself. Allegedly. She likes the attention that comes with such a big announcement. Now comes word that the rapper has given her a $75,000 diamond ring to celebrate the success of his new album. Again, we’re wondering if this is more PR trickery orchestrated by Minaj.

According to Page Six, when Meek’s new record “Dreams Worth More Than Money” hit number one he took a trip to Rafaello and Co. Jewelers in New York’s Diamond District to get the ring. Minaj posted a picture of her new rings on Instagram and with the caption: “I get gifts when I’m good, better gifts when I’m bad.”

Only time, album sales, and the renewal of their alleged social contract, will reveal if they ever make it down the aisle.

In related news, the Minaj and Meek PR stunt took an engaging plot twist during its Dallas stop last Friday night. Accompanied by her alleged lesbian lover, newcomer Dej Loaf, the artists took over the Gexa Energy Pavilion on the first night of her marathon 38-song tour. Nicki described the show as the “best night of her life.”

She brought out Meek to perform two of his new songs, and then sent fans and social media into a crazed frenzy when she licked his face, “I don’t want to kiss you, I just want to lick you,” Minaj said as she sauntered toward the rapper. Peep the video below.

The Dallas Observer reports that Nicki’s ridiculously long setlist wore down the crowd, so another one of her openers, Rae Sremmurd, reappeared onstage to help resuscitate fans.

While Minaj and Meek continue to defend their love to critics who question their authenticity, we find the supposed Nicki and Dej Loaf saga far more fascinating. #StayTuned.
