*On Tuesday, outspoken sports commentator, Stephen A. Smith, defended presidential candidates Hilary Clinton and Martin O’Malley over comments they made before a Black audience that some consider dismissive toward the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

“I think that all of us as Americans have a responsibility to recognize the pain and grief throughout our country from all of the lives that have been lost to violence, whether that’s violence at the hands of police, whether that’s violence at the hands of civilians,” O’Malley said during a presidential town hall in Phoenix over the weekend. “Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter.”

Last month, while speaking at a historically black church in Missouri, Clinton repeated the robotic mantra, perhaps hoping it would resonate inside the wombs of the female congregants.

It’s interesting to note how these White politicians like to stir the pot on this subject by regurgitating #AllLivesMatter before Black people, only to quickly backtrack with a prepared apology to satiate the offended. Don’t bother apologizing to the seemingly jaded Stephen Smith, however, as he’s got a front row seat to the #AllLivesMatter propaganda parade, and he’s following it all the way to the bank!

“Let me preface my comments by saying I am fully aware of the fact that no one white can say what I’m about to say,” Smith said during his six-minute monologue Tuesday. “But damn it, I’m gonna say it. Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley apologized on Saturday. Ladies and gentlemen, guess why he apologized. Because during a discussion, in front of an abundance of African-Americans, he said ‘all lives matter.’ As opposed to ‘Black. Lives. Matter.’ Now, there’s a lot of things that I could get into. But this is a sports show, and I’m not going to get into that. But just to make my position clear: I got two points to make. What the hell is he supposed to say? I mean the next thing you know … what are you going to ask him to say next, ‘only black lives matter?’ All lives do matter! Now, we understand where the #BlackLivesMatter originated from. I mean, in the aftermath of Trayvon Martin and everything. Eric Gardner, the list goes on and on, Michael Brown. We understand that and nobody’s ignoring that. And nobody’s ignoring that as a society we got some serious problems. Nobody’s denying that there’s problems with racism, that to some degree. some police officers acting up, that problem has to be addressed. But what is a presidential candidate supposed to say?”
