*Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd are back on the payroll at ABC’s daytime staple, “The View.”

Behar will return to her old position of co-host, while Shepherd will be back as a contributor, ABC News announced Tuesday.

Behar will join returning co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins as well as newbies Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris for the show’s 19th season, which premieres Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Behar, a co-host from seasons one through 16, said in a statement that she’s happy to be “back home.”

“And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight,” she said, referring to presidential candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald Trump.

Shepherd will join with fellow contributors Padma Lakshmi, Stacy London, Ana Navarro and Molly Sims to weigh in on topics including politics, style and health, ABC said.

Co-host turnover at “The View” has included the exits of Jenny McCarthy, Rosie O’Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez.
