*It will be an all-“Empire” episode of Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” on Aug. 20, with Taraji P. Henson squaring off against her on-screen ex Terrence Howard.
In a preview clip, the Emmy nominee channels her fierce and fabulous character Cookie Lyon for a performance of Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine,” only to be joined by Blige herself.
Both lip sync for their lives as host LL Cool J, color commentator Chrissy Teigen and Howard can only stand by and marvel.
