*”He is a kind, giving, very special human being. That’s all I know him for,” says entertainer Melba Moore, when speaking with a TMZÂ videographer.
Though she may not be as relevant as she once was, the legendary entertainer who turned heads in the late 60s and 70s says she still has nothing but love for the beleaguered Bill Cosby. Moore was a hot talent on Broadway, TV, and music in her heyday.
The camera caught up with the 69-year-old entertainer in New York City on Friday night as she was leaving the Gramercy Park Theatre. She was asked several questions about her feelings for Bill Cosby and sung his praises as a kind human being, adding, “nobody’s perfect.”
She told the videographer that Cosby has done wonderful things for her, including supporting her on many personal family issues.
But she was a little apprehensive when it came to direct questioning on the sexual assault allegations. She said she had no way of knowing what was true or not, but strongly supports “Dr. Cosby” and would “Never offer him any advice because it is he who always gives her advice.”
