The 28-year-old is gearing up for two epic big screen roles: the highly anticipated superhero adventure “Fantastic Four,” and a Rocky spin-off, “Creed,” in theaters November 25.

He’s also teaming with director Destin Cretton for “Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption” – a film based on the award-winning bestseller by Bryan Stevenson.

With “Fantastic Four” arriving in theaters this weekend, Jordan is hitting the promo trail hard, chatting with media outlets including rolling out and most recently DUJOUR magazine where he opened up about his working experience with Bill Cosby at age 12, which he says affects how he approaches roles today.

“He commanded that set; that was his show. He demanded a professionalism from everyone,” he said of Cosby – recalling also how Cosby helped him learn to embody his character. “He gave me a tick,” Jordan said. “[He said], ‘You care about your hair. You love your hair. You brush your hair nonstop all day. That’s what you do.’ And I was like ‘alright, got it.’ So I brushed my hair. And you’re shooting this thing for hours. Imagine brushing your hair until your scalp is raw.”

Jordan also revealed his stance on love and relationships, saying that he’s very traditional and wants a long-lasting relationship, like his parents have.

“My family environment growing up is very much what I want eventually,” he said. “It gives me hope and a longing for something more than the surface kind of relationships that you have so much. I always use them as a gauge. They were 28 or 29 when they got married. So I have a year… But unless something dramatic goes down, I don’t see that happening.”

Michael sat down with HuffPost Live Tuesday and issued a response to that strange interviewer who couldn’t wrap his head around how he and “Fantastic Four”co-star Kate Mara — two actors of different races — could be siblings in the movie. “But you’re white and you’re black,” Rock 100.5 Morning Show host Steven J. Rickman remarked. “How does that happen?”

Jordan expressed how challenging it can be dealing with these brazen journalists:

“So as actors, sometimes we feel the pressure to always say what you’re supposed to and kind of put your best foot forward, promoting the film, Jordan explained to host Marc Lamont Hill. “So we don’t want to bring any negativity towards the positive messaging, what we’re actually there to do for it, because we’re doing a job, and we want to do it well,” Jordan continued. “But, we’re still people. We’re still human. So that kind of bothers us. But at the end of the day we don’t want to bring attention to ignorance, we just always want to take the highroad with these things.”
