*Could it be that Aretha Franklin and Shonda Rhimes will be working together soon?
On Sunday The Queen of Soul was overheard asking the “Scandal”-“Grey’s Anatomy”-“How To Get Away With Murder” executive producer if she’d be interested in penning her biopic and Rhimes said: “Of course I would.”
Franklin was also overheard telling Rhimes that she’s asked “Scandal” star Kerry Washington to play her sister.
Franklin initially asked Oscar winner Halle Berry to play her, but Berry declined. Since then Jennifer Hudson’s name has been in the mix, but so far no one is attached. There’s also no script.
