VH1 Orders Stevie J, Joseline Spin-Off; Season 2 of K. Michelle Confirmed

*Fans of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” get ready for a spin-off featuring music producer Stevie J and his bully-loud mouth “wife” Joseline Hernandez.

VH1 ordered eight, half-hour episodes of the spin-off, created by Mona Scott-Young’s Monami Entertainment. The show will follow the typical dysfunctional shenanigans of the couple as they make the move to Hollywood to make Joseline a megastar.

“In a summer where the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’ went straight to #1, Taylor Swift’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar topped the Billboard charts and our own “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” ranked as the #1 reality show on cable, hip hop’s dominance of pop culture was confirmed yet again,” said Susan Levison, VH1’s EVP of original programming and production. “We’re excited to fuel our audience’s continued fascination with all things hip hop by extending the storylines of some of their favorite ‘Love & Hip Hop’ cast members.”

According to Variety, the series is tentatively titled “Stevie & Joseline Take L.A.” If fans have been paying attention to Hernandez’s Twitter account, she’s been teasing about the spinoff for the past several weeks.

As the IBITimes reports, earlier this month, she tweeted, “Third week of filming #TheJordansTakeLA.” (Stevie’s full name is Steven Jordan).

A few weeks ago she posted a photo of her and Stevie J, writing, “#TheJordans #ForTheStarsFashionHouse #Jacob #VH1 #TheJordansTakeLA #PuertoRicanPrincess.”

Despite Joseline testifying under oath that “Love & Hip Hop” was fake and scripted, her new “reality series” with Stevie, and season 2 of “K.Michelle: My Life” are expected to air this coming winter.

VH1 ordered a second season of “K.Michelle: My Life,” which continues to chronicle the best-selling recording artist and “Love & Hip Hop” alum as she finds new inspiration and revolutionize her sound to propel herself into superstardom.

“K.Michelle: My Life” was the #3 new cable reality series among Women 18-49 this past year (VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” and VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE” take the number one and two spots, respectively.), according to the website.
