*When news came out that 19-year-old unarmed college student Christian Taylor had been fatally wounded by a cop that was still in training after he allegedly drove his car through the window of a GMC Classic Buick dealership, family members said something didn’t add up.
According to the police version of the story, a security company dialed in for emergency help after they witnessed Taylor using his car to crash through the dealership’s showroom window.
“The officers went and confronted him. There was an altercation. An officer discharged his weapon and struck the suspect,” Sgt. Paul Rodriguez, a police spokesman, told the Star-Telegram.
Taylor, a sophomore at Angelo State University and member of the football team, was pronounced dead at the scene.
