*Zendaya had to light up a Twitter user who called her parents “ugly” in a recent post.
Someone going by @DARRI_MINNIE7 shared a photo of the actress with her mom and dad, Claire Stoermer and Kazembe, along with the words, “her parents really ugly I really would cry.”
“While you’re so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these two are the most selfless people in the world,” the 28-year-old Disney vet responded in a lengthy post. “They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people’s parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds.”
“[G]o look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles.”
