*This man has not necessarily claimed an official association with the Black Lives Matter movement, but he’s close enough in an unofficial way.
That said, Quanell X, leader of the New Black Panther Party in Houston, Texas, has admitted he is “at war” with what he calls “bad cops.” But he follows that remark up by clarifying, “Not ALL cops.” And with the recent death of Deputy Darren Goforth …
And he is out to prove this.
In an interview with KTRK-TV, Mr. X states his issues with these bad cops stem from ”Police brutality.”
But in an act that will most likely turn many heads of those who want to hate on any movement in support of Black people or #Black LivesMatter, X recognizes that Goforth, who was shot down, execution style, last week at a Houston gas station while fueling his car, was one of the “good ones” and even raised money for the fallen deputy.
