*Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has a TV gig lined up for the off-season.
The athlete is set to host the upcoming Nickelodeon series “I Wanna Be…,”which follows various kids on their quests to make their dreams a reality under the guidance of Newton and other experts.
“Time in the spotlight has made me realize the importance of creating positive messages to inspire the next generation,” says Newton. “I’m very passionate about mentoring young people, and this show will be the perfect opportunity to help talented kids get the chance to pursue their dreams.”
The 20-episode docuseries will air in 2016.
