*Well now, this is a messy situation that NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony finds himself in. At least for the moment. Let us explain.
It seems a certain individual is out to besmirch the NY Knicks player – who’s married to actress La La Anthony – by threatening to expose him in a sex tape because he supposedly owes the individual $15,000 for a sexual encounter.
Yes, it’s basically blackmail and the person doing it went on Twitter to put Anthony on blast by pretending to be former porn star Jazmine Cashmere (see the tweets below). However, Cashmere, who now goes by the name Nicole B. Jones and is a born again Christian and minister, wants the world to know that those tweets didn’t come from her.
Cashmere/Jones, in a video she posted on YouTube to clear her name, says she’s never even met Carmelo Anthony and on top of that, she says the Twitter account is not hers. She says somebody set up a Twitter page using her name and photo a while back. It’s gone on to gather quite a few followers, including well known athletes and rappers. But former adult film actress insists she’s never had anything to do with the page.
However, we can’t help but wonder why – if she knew about the false account – Â didn’t she complain to Twitter and have it removed?
In any event, check out what she has to say below. In the meantime, we can only wonder what the truth really is in this situation for all the parties involved. Well, one thing we do know is that it’s big mess.
