Farrah Franklin (Destiny’s Child) Officially Debuts with Sexy New Single: ‘Magic and Makeup’

*Los Angeles, CA. – Echo Brand/Cedar Park Entertainment is excited to announce the release of “Magic and Makeup,” the long-awaited and official debut single from the beautiful and talented Farrah Franklin, former member of the multi-platinum selling group Destiny’s Child.

“Magic and Makeup” was sent to key Urban radio stations on Tuesday, September 1. The single will be officially serviced to all of Mainstream Urban, Urban AC/Adult R&B and Rhythmic radio on Tuesday, September 8.

This sexy and sultry ballad was produced by hot newcomer Devin “DLP” Parker, who says the song “is about Farrah’s obstacles in life and like everyone, her yearning to be accepted and loved for them”.

“Magic and Makeup” will be available on iTunes and all major digital retail outlets on Tuesday, September 15.
Look for Farrah’s sexy “Magic and Makeup” video premiering on VEVO and YouTube channels in the coming weeks.

Farrah’s upcoming debut album, tentatively called DESTINY, will be released this Fall and will feature production from Devin “DLP” Parker, along with Grammy Award-winning producers Wayne Rodrigues (Natasha Bedingfield, Kelly Clarkson) and Dave Jam Hall (Mariah Carey, Madonna, Mary J Blige, Brownstone, Intro).
DESTINY will be executive produced by Al “Butter” McLean and Dave Jam Hall via Echo Brand/Cedar Park Entertainment and distributed by Empire Distribution.

Farrah Franklin is a former member of the popular multi-platinum female group Destiny’s Child. In 2000, Farrah, along with Michelle Williams, replaced original group members LaTavia Robertson and LeToya Luckett.

Before and after joining the group, Farrrah was enjoying a blossoming acting career, starring in the movies Trippin, The Brewster Project, Tamales and Gumbo, Unemployed, Single Black Female and Preachers Family.
