*FX has released a dialogue-only first teaser for its upcoming anthology series “American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson,” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. in the title role.
Viewers don’t get to see Gooding, or John Travolta as defense lawyer Robert Shapiro, Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark and Courtney B. Vance as defense lawyer Johnnie Cochran in the 15 second clip, but the characters are heard as their names flash across a white screen.
Based on the Jeffrey Toobin book “The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson,” the Ryan Murphy-created miniseries is a look at the Trial of the Century told from the perspective of the lawyers.
