*Gayle King is sharing her weight loss journey on social media, after being horrified to step on a scale and discover she was pushing 200lbs.

Oprah’s best bud has teamed with Weight Watchers, and after a week of being on the diet, King took to Instagram to reveal that she’s dropped 4 pounds, going from 184 to 180 pounds.

“First week on @weightwatchers ! So far no cheating … Long long way to go …,” she captioned the progress pic.

As Page Six reports, the 60-year-old “CBS This Morning” co-anchor has been posting pics of the diet foods she’s eating, including eggs, bacon, tomatoes, scallops and broccoli. “No potatoes or cheese (single tear ),” said King.

Back in February, she announced that she wanted to lose weight and even posted, “Fatter than I have ever been! Help has just arrived in the form of @Beyoncé 22 day vegan diet, lunar pasta, brown rice pilaf, rosemary white beans!”

King, 60, has been open about her fluctuating body weight. Back in 2004, she was a fitness freak who allowed herself to indulge every now and then.

“Some people don’t eat pasta or bread or sweets ever,” she said. “I love those foods too much. So for the most part, I eat healthy, but if I go to a party or on vacation, I’m going to enjoy it; then I work extra hard to get back to where I was.”

Before packing on the pounds, Gayle lived by the book, “Business Plan for the Body by Jim Karas.”

“Before I was doing cardio, cardio, cardio,” she said. “And I wasn’t losing weight the way I’m losing now. Jim said to me that building up muscle really does burn calories faster. For me, that’s been the case.”
