*As we previously reported, Karrine Steffans recently miscarried a child that everyone thought was fathered by her on again/off again friend and lover Lil Wayne.
As it turns out, Steffans says that American born Nigerian singer and “Power” actor, Rotimi Akinosho, is the baby daddy, and she took to Instagram to blast him for abandoning her after she lost their son.

BET reports that in her follow-up post, Steffans used a pic of MLK with the quote, “In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
“I feel bad using Dr. King’s image for this moment,” she wrote, “but the words are just perfect. Losing a child is devastating. I’ve been suffering everyday since, and sinking into a manic depressive state. One minute, I’m way up and the next minute, I’m the lowest I’ve ever been.”
Karrine revealed her pregnancy and miscarriage in an interview with Vlad TV last month, saying:
“I hadn’t’ said anything because it was too early,” Steffans said. “It’s just personal stuff. So by the time I got off tour in the middle of bed rest and we lost the baby. I just got off of bed rest a week ago, and this is actually my second day out of bed,” she divulged.
In her recent Instagram rant about Rotini, Steffans wrote:
“The hardest part of it all has been not being able to talk about it, not being allowed to cry on the shoulder of the man who has been my best friend, my love, and my rock through so many other hardships. Suffering in silence is a death all its own. I don’t know if anyone else has been through this … It has destroyed me and what happens next is apropos. Pray for me.”
