Kim Fields Joins Fellow ‘RHOA’ Stars with $212,000 Tax Lien

kim-fields*Kim Fields is making herself right at home as the newest cast member of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” with owing more than $212,000 in federal taxes.

A federal tax lien issued on October 2, 2014 reveals that Fields, 46, a married mother of two, did not pay the IRS in 2011, 2012, and 2013, RadarOnline.com reports. In terms of the money, that amounts to skipped payments of $33,28.98, $42,318.40 and $136,873.64 for a total of $212,421.02.

Despite starring in two classic sitcoms (“The Facts of Life” and “Living Single”), work has been scarce for Fields. IMDB notes that in the last three years, the Marietta, Georgia, resident only acted in one project, the 2014 TV movie “For Better or for Worse.”

Although it looks bad for Fields, she’s not alone.

According to Radar, the entertainer’s tax woes are up there with Sheree Whitfield, who returns to “RHOA” after three years offscreen with a tax lien for more than $100,000 in December 2013. Last year, Cynthia Bailey’s husband Peter Thomas got caught up with tax drama as he allegedly fell $100,000 behind in rent payments for his lounge, Bar One.

Radar goes on to reference sources who told the site last year that Kenya Moore’s “broke” status resulted in her collecting some much-needed income from appearing on “Celebrity Apprentice.”

While 2013 was a year of financial struggle for Porsha Williams after divorcing Kordell Stewart, the sources state that she “has her life together” and is clearing up old debts.
