Mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon

*A suspect is in custody after a shooting on the campus at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon left multiple people dead.

A Douglas County Board official tells Reuters that at least 15 people were killed and 20 wounded.

There are conflicting reports regarding details of the shooting. Some say the shooter made his way into Snyder Hall and began firing inside of one classroom. The shooter then reportedly made his way to the Science Building.

A student who called into Fox News while sheltering in place inside of a classroom said he and his classmates were led to believe that there were two shooters.

The first call about the shooting came into the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 10:37 a.m.

About 3,000 students attend the college.
