*Amber Rose will appear in an upcoming episode of “Black-ish,” playing Dominique, the past love interest of Charlie (Deon Cole). After Charlie gets stuck baby-sitting Dre’s (Anthony Anderson) kids, Dominique comes back into the picture.
“Anthony Anderson knows I’m really passionate about acting and he saw my movie Sister Code that I was in this past year and he gave me a chance,” Rose tells TVGuide.com of how she got the part. “And I love it here!”
Amber’s other TV and film credits include “Gang of Roses 2: Next Generation,” “School Dance,” “Selfie” and “Zoolander 2” (2016).
Her “Black-ish” episode is slated to air in early November. She joins Zendaya, Tyra Banks and Michael Strahan as guest stars this season.
“Black-ish” airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
*Meanwhile, Gilbert Arenas is taking his ex back to court for violating a court order. The latest in his tumultuous saga with Laura Govan finds him accusing his former fiance of leaking their email exchange to blogger B. Scott, according to court docs obtained by TMZ.
In the docs filed by the former baller, Gilbert says he has text messages between Laura and B. Scott, who last week published details from the emails, which included allegations of infidelity, STD’s and domestic violence. Their exchange certainly makes Gilbert seem like a nasty human being. Below is an excerpt of a message Laura sent Gilbert:
“U wanna go way back ok! Since I’ve known you 2001 ok, you HAVE ALWAYSSSS SLEPT AROUND! Even as far as sleeping with some of my family members! Being young and not very smart I still stayed! I got prego with Izela (9) right after Alijah (8) a miscarriage then Hamiley (5) right after Aloni (4). Since you seem to forget their age. And Now Have Step kids The Same ages as Our children (which is cute … Not!)”
Arenas says Laura violated a court order they just signed in August that prohibits her from making “derogatory or disparaging remarks” about him. If a judge agrees that she violated the order, it could impact their visitation agreement and violating the rules for exchanging their 4 kids.
Earlier this year, Govan sued Arenas for kicking her and the kids out of their L.A. mansion and then selling her $1 million engagement ring.
TMZ obtained Goven’s court docs in which the reality TV star stated that she began dating Gilbert in 2002, before he made nearly $200 million in NBA money. They never married but Laura claims they “lived together as husband and wife,” and Gilbert promised that she would “share equally” in all of his earnings as if they were legally married. Their relationship ended in 2014 when Gilbert notified her to vacate the premises of their home.
