*America’s First Couple of hip-hop are renting a $45 million mansion in the exclusive Holmby Hills neighborhood of West Los Angeles, TMZ is reporting.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are shelling out
a whopping $150,000 per month for the breath-taking 20,000-square-foot estate, and they can certainly afford it. They have a combined fortune estimated at $1 billion, according to the website Celebrity Net Worth.

The Carters signed a one year lease for their new home, which includes an indoor Olympic-sized pool, as well as a scenic outdoor swimming hole, complete with a flowing waterfall and ornate formal gardens.  Click here to view photos.

*Former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt used to own the pad before selling it last year to an undisclosed British billionaire, who ultimately decided to rent it out, NY Daily News reports. At the time of the sale, the L.A. Times (via Vanity Fair) said the home featured five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a spa, “a commercial kitchen, an art studio, an atrium, a bar, a billiard room, a home theater, a library/study, a dance studio and a wine cellar.”

According to TMZ, Jay and Bey are reportedly keen on transitioning to LA permanently “because they think it’s a good place to raise Blu Ivy.”

In related news, Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Rihanna are suing Paris clothing retailer ElevenParis, accusing the company of selling items featuring their likenesses without permission, Reuters reports.

The complaint filed on Tuesday in federal court in New York said ElevenParis has ignored the singers’ warnings to stop the sales of items such as shirts, hats, backpacks and cellphone cases in a store in Manhattan’s Soho district, and on its website.

ElevenParis’ actions “have caused and are causing immediate irreparable harm” to the plaintiffs, who seek to recoup profits and triple damages over the allegations of trademark infringement and violations of their rights of publicity, the complaint said.
