*One year after Derek Jeter stopped playing ON the field, the baseball star has also stopped playing the field, with Wednesday’s reports of his engagement to girlfriend Hannah Davis.
The former Yankees shortstop recently proposed to Davis, a source confirmed to Us Weekly.
According to the insider, what separates Davis from the multitude of Jeter’s past girlfreinds — including Minka Kelly, Vanessa Lachey, Jordana Brewster and Mariah Carey — is her personality and their compatibility.
“Their relationship works because they are both supportive and sweet to each other,” the source tells Us Weekly. “They almost never fight.”
