*Washington Redskins coach Jon Gruden has commented on the armed home invasion at the San Fernando Valley, CA residence of wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

The athlete’s Tarzana home was targeted by multiple intruders early Wednesday and at least one of the six people inside the house were pistol-whipped, a law enforcement source told EURweb. The people inside were able to fend off the suspects, who fled the scene.

The NFL star and subject of BET reality series “DeSean Jackson: Home Team” was not home when the robbers struck.

Police believe the suspects are gang related, have been in the house before and knew exactly where the video cameras were positioned.

Chris Brown, who lives in the same neighborhood, was the victim of a similar home invasion in July. Brown singer wasn’t home when three robbers, who police believe targeted the house knowing that it was Brown’s, broke in and locked his aunt in a closet at gunpoint before ransacking the house.

Our law enforcement source says police are closing in on an arrest.

“He had no knowledge of the incident until a phone call last evening. It’s a legal matter. We’re waiting for police to let us know more about the incident.”
