*When the latest issue of People Magazine was revealed to feature Khloe Kardashian on the cover under the headline “My Own Story: Khloe Kardashian Breaks Her Silence,” Twitter exploded with people accusing her of trying to cash in on the tragedy of her husband Lamar Odom.
The reality star used Twitter to set the record straight, saying the People photo shoot and interview were done before Odom’s near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel earlier this month.
She also said the magazine wanted a five minute follow-up conversation to address Odom’s hospitalization and her decision to forgo their divorce – and she was under contract to give them the interview.
