*Mariah Carey’s billionaire boyfriend James Packer is about to make some extra cash off her voice.
The singer has been booked to perform at the grand opening of Studio City, a new casino in Macau that has Packer among its investors. According to TMZ, the destination “promises to be Asia’s answer to Vegas.”
Carey is reportedly being paid a 6-figure sum for the performance, scheduled for Oct. 27.
Studio City owners are hoping Mariah’s presence will lure Chinese bigwigs to the casino’s tables, TMZ reports.
Packer has arranged to fill the front row with the likes of Brett Ratner, Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, the website reports.
