*Lamar Odom’s fight for his life after being found unconscious at a brothel has garnered comments, prayers and well-wishes from many.
But in Master P’s eyes, it’s Odom’s former LA Lakers teammate, Kobe Bryant, who should’ve gone the extra mile in helping him.
Chatting with TMZ Sports, Master P labeled Odom’s situation “sad” and shared that the former athlete wanted to get back to the NBA. With that, he called out Bryant for not doing more with bringing Odom back to the league.
“If Kobe was his friend…Kobe, like, owns the [Lakers]. He could’ve got the man back on the team. That’s all he wanted,” Master P said while stating his belief that Bryant and the Kardashians showing up at the hospital to be by Odom’s side this week is “phony.”
The rap mogul also went on to express that he thinks the NBA “blackballed” Odom because of his role on E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Apparently Master P’s comments made its way to the Black Mamba himself, TMZ Sports reports while noting that Bryant took to social media to respond to the rap mogul’s claims of him being a “phony” friend to Odom who didn’t help the troubled athlete when he needed it most.
While he doesn’t mention Master P directly, the following tweet from the NBA all-star leaves little doubt as to who he has words for:
“When WE feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led US to such insensitive suspicion.”
