*J. Randy Taraborrelli’s new tell-all book on Beyoncé continues to drop revelations about the singer as it detail a long denied feud with Jennifer Hudson during their time as castmates on the film adaptation of the hit stage musical “Dreamgirls.”

Sharing details of the book’s findings, RadarOnline.com reports that despite getting along well when filming for “Dreamgirls” started in early 2006, things started getting tense when Hudson and costar Anika Noni Rose became outraged by what they believed to be special attention paid to Beyoncé.

“The two thought Beyoncé was given all the best wardrobes, and according to multiple sources, kept going to [costume designer] Sharon Davis and complaining about it,” Taraborelli claims in “Becoming Beyoncé” as Davis seemingly confirm the rumors.

“It’s very true that Jennifer and Anika would see Beyoncé in an outfit and say, ‘Damn! We want to look like her!’” she told Taraborrelli.

Hudson and Rose’s supposed jealousy of Beyoncé continued during press tours before “Dreamgirls” hit theaters in December 2006, according to a source.

“Throughout the whole press junket, Anika and Jennifer both wanted to be Beyoncé,” the source allegedly told Taraborrelli.

Although Hudson and Rose reportedly displayed jealousy toward Beyoncé, things started to flip as Hudson scored raves from critics who were taken with her Oscar-winning portrayal of Effie White.

“This was tough goin’ for [Beyoncé],” an insider told Taraborrelli. “…She has an ego like every other superstar in her position. So to have a blockbuster movie like this one ripped out from under her by a novice like Jennifer Hudson wasn’t easy.”

Taraborrelli goes on to claim that Beyoncé was so jealous of the praise Hudson received that she stopped reading anything about “Dreamgirls” in the media and apparently wasn’t there for her co-star when Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were murdered in her hometown of Chicago in 2008.

While a report claimed that Beyoncé attended the funeral services, Taraborrelli alleges she was not present for the memorials. Instead, he claims she attended a “Promote The Vote” party in Philadelphia with her husband Jay Z.

Despite the bad blood, Radar Online notes that whatever beef Hudson and Beyoncé had with each other looks to be squashed when J-Hud attended Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles‘ 60th birthday party in New Orleans in January 2014.
