*Is Beyonce really 34, or is she actually two years older than she’s been claiming throughout her entire career?
The singer’s father, Mathew Knowles, suggested as much during an interview with The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 late last week.
Mathew mentioned that his eldest daughter is the exact same age as Pink, who turned 36 on Sept. 7.
Beyonce’s birthday is just three days earlier, but she supposedly turned 34 on Sept. 4, not 36.
“L.A. [Reid] had a girls group, but I bet you don’t know who the lead singer was — Pink,” Mathew, 63, said on the radio show. “She’s the exact same age as Beyonce and there used to be this battle of who was better.”
He continued: “You had Usher, he was the same age. They were all 14 or 15 years old living in Atlanta.” (Ursh turned 37 this month.)
This isn’t the only time Bey’s age has been called into question. In 2006, TMZ dug up a a document from the Texas Department of Health that claimed she was seven years older than she says.
Also, there’s that time Gabrielle Union once said that she was good friends with Beyonce when they were teenagers. Union, however, is nine years older than the singer.
