*Everyone wants to cash in on Drake’s “Hotling Bling,” or at the very least, get 15 minutes to shine with their own rendition.

Justin Bieber, Alessia Cara and Sufjan Stevens have performed uninspiring versions, and we’re still in love with Erykah Badu’s take on the track.

Now comes Anthony Hamilton and his group the Hamiltones – who are giving us much life with their bluesy-gospel infused rendition of the infectious track. Check it out in the clip below

In related news, Hamilton recently offered up a soulful ballad of Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae), which you can peep here in case you missed it.

Last December, the chart topper explained to NPR how he wanted to switch up his style by releasing a holiday album titled, “Home for the Holidays” – which offers nontraditional versions of classic Christmas songs, including a cover of the 1968 James Brown number “Santa Claus Go Straight to the Ghetto.”

“The mundane songs that have been recorded over and over again, I really didn’t want to do that,” he says. “I didn’t want it to be so sterile that you couldn’t feel the personality. And I wanted it to be true to who I am as an artist.”

He continued:

“Being someone from the ghetto, from the inner city, and from those streets, I felt like it was just a way of introducing a new sound to my people, and those who wouldn’t normally embrace a Christmas album,” Hamilton says. “Like, hey, it’s all right. It’s OK to get into the spirit.”

If you want the crooner to set the mood in your home this holiday season, you can purchase “Home for the Holidays” on his official website. In the meantime, check out the video below to hear Anthony’s “Hotline Bling” rendition.
