*Bravo isn’t looking to end its cash cow anytime soon, as the network is prepping to hook you further on the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise by rolling out “The Real Housewives of Potomac” on Sunday, Jan. 17. The network calls the Montgomery County town “Maryland’s fabulous best-kept secret.”

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” will follow the lives of six affluent women in the town Bravo calls “a hidden gem.”

According to Bravo.com:

“Located just up the river from our nation’s capital of Washington, D.C., Potomac is a cozy, upscale enclave with gated mansions, rolling hills, and exclusive country clubs. Viewers will be introduced to the wealthy African-American families who have broken racial barriers and now reside in the sophisticated community.”

“Here in Potomac, new money’s good, but old money is so much better,” cast member Karen Huger says in the preview of the show.

“Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only,” Bravo said in a statement. “Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide the best life possible for their children.”

NBC Washington notes that the women set to star in the series include Ashley Darby, who was named Miss District of Columbia in 2011, and Katie Rost, a model and TV personality. Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Robyn Dixon round out the cast.

Meanwhile season 8 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is currently airing on Bravo.
