Chris Brown Blasts ‘Bogus’ Codeine Addiction Allegations

Chris Brown*According to TMZ, Chris Brown’s friends and family are worried that he’s addicted to sizzurp, but Chris says no one in his camp has concern, and despite the fact that the website has damning evidence to support their claim, he’s calling the story “bulls***.”

The entertainment news site obtained a picture of Chris and some friends taken over the weekend at an L.A. pumpkin patch where he took his daughter, Royalty. The pic shows Chris and his enablers and hangers-on sitting atop bales of hay with a double-stacked red cup at his feet, presumably the cup contains sizzurp. Chris’ friends and family are worried he’s drinking the additive substance around Royalty, and they fear he’ll lose partial custody of the 1-year-old.

During Chris’ custody battle over the summer, he tested positive for codeine, but the judge gave him a pass because he had a prescription.

Even more damming for Brown, the website also obtained video that shows him at a birthday party for Tyga’s son a few weeks ago, and he is seen drinking from a double cup while riding a bike. A member of his entourage is spotted carrying a bottle of codeine and soda, and it appears they’re mixing it in the parking lot at a kid’s party.

Chris has responded to TMZ’s accusations, calling it “bulls***” that anyone around him is concerned. As Page Six notes, even before the story was published, Brown was blasting TMZ on social media.

“Tmz is about to run a bogus story tomorrow becuz they aren’t getting any traffic,” he tweeted, before writing the story was “b——t.”

This isn’t the first time Chris has been at odds with the website.  Most recently, he called Harvey Levin “the devil” on Instagram, following publication of a story claiming that his mother was worried for his safety because he was hanging with  Los Angeles gang members.

In the post, which has since been deleted, Brown wrote:

What the devil looks like in person. Lol. You sad little man. You’ve been trying for years to destroy me. It won’t work. Your efforts are flattering. When you look back on your life when it’s that time for you to depart, what can u actually say you’ve accomplished in life? Bringing people down and being the number one source for negativity. Life’s too short homie. Find some sort of happiness. You are a grown ass man. God bless you bruh.”
