*Jay Z and Alicia Keys have been tapped as keynote speakers for Harvard University’s annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference, where they will offer their expertise on the music industry.
Hosted by the school’s African American Student Union, the three-day event is titled “Transcend: Redefining Expectations,” and will take place from Feb. 5 – 7, 2016. The festival will focus on owning and operating Black businesses, networking events, TED talks and panel discussions.
“We aim to celebrate African-American achievements, inspire many new milestones, and provide a forum for attendees to take on issues facing our community such as: What is the African-American business community’s response to social injustice? Where do African-Americans fit in to the ever expanding definition of diversity?” the AASU website reads.
Other keynote speakers include Kenneth Chenault, the CEO of American Express, and Deval Patrick, Managing Director of Bain Capital (Former Governor of Massachusetts).
The conference will conclude with a networking reception, closing party, and jazz brunch.

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian is apologizing for her Odom/Harden “Polygamy” Joke. As EUR previously reported, Khloe appeared on Ellen where she made light of her love triangle with husband Lamar Odom and her NBS boyfriend James Harden.
“It’s definitely a very unique situation, to say the least …,” the reality TV star told Ellen DeGeneres. “I’m just going to say I’m, like, part of polygamy now. I have a husband, I have a boyfriend. … That’s a way easier thing to say.”
Following her “Ellen Show” appearance, Khloe was blasted for comparing her love life to polygamy. Now, she’s apologizing for making the insensitive remarks.
After Kardashian was slammed for making light of the situation, she took to social media on to apologize. “It was a tasteless joke and I’m disappointed I said that. I was nervous. Still disappointed in myself. Definitely not respectful,” Khloe commented on an Instagram video.
