*The people who donated money to TLC’s kickstarter campaign for a new album were initially promised a September 2015 release, then, a mid-October 2015 release.
It’s now November, and the only new TLC item out right now is the hashtag: #TLCisGoingToJailParty – because people are pissed, A by tweet from T-Boz in response to the album’s whereabouts didn’t help matters.
@NathanNAVY Call Kickstarter and tell em yo give it bk

The group raised over $430,000 on Kickstarter, including a $5000 donation from Katy Perry and $10,000 from New Kids on the Block. They had even set a Kickstarter record for the “fastest funded pop project in TLC history,” T-Boz and Chilli tweeted at the time.
A Sept. 24 update on their Kickstarter page said the release date has been pushed back to next year: “We are moving the album back to 2016, so that we will have more time to finish the record the TLC way.”
Still, one of T-Boz’s Twitter followers wanted to know where the new album was. Her answer (to hit up Kickstarter for a refund) perhaps sewed the seeds of #TLCisGoingToJailParty.
