*Thankfully it looks like Lamar Odom is gonna catch a break and not face prosecution for cocaine possession.
That’s because the district attorney in Nye County, Nevada is backing away from earlier statements made by the Sheriff who said there was a strong chance that Odom would be prosecuted, reports TMZ.
Of course we’re referring to the fact that when the ex-NBAer was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in early October he was under the influence of cocaine, according to a drug test.
The DA’s office, according to sources, says they will consider Odom’s medical condition and mental state in deciding whether to charge him. In the meantime, Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband is barely able to speak and cannot walk. His cognitive functions are also severely impaired.
Another reason the Nye County, NV district attorney probably won’t prosecute is because Lamar Odom’s physical and mental condition is so bad, he might not even be legally competent to stand trial.
