lil boosie

*Lil Boosie Badazz is not here for all the “gay sh*t” on television, as he confessed in a Instagram tirade Monday morning.

Since his release from prison last year, the Baton Rouge, LA native said his primary complaint about the state of pop culture has been the gay push by all aspects of media.

In the lengthy rant (which has since been deleted), the rapper expressed his frustration with being confronted with gay themes whenever he turns on the TV, writing:

Since I’ve came home ever time I turn on the Tv some gay sh*t on I try to watch love n hip hop (gay sh*t)tried to watch empire (gay sh*t) walked n on a cartoon doing gay sh*t a f*ckin cartoon kids watch tv,” he wrote.

He added, “I guess next they go have a f*cking gay channel for kids saying if U want to be gay watch this tune n smh f*cked up world n my eyes ( but everybody don’t agree smh).”

Born Torrence Hatch, Boosie Badazz has released five studio albums while contributing to a number of mixtapes and compilations. He served time in the Louisiana State Penitentiary from 2009–14, having been sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to drug charges.

In January 2013, the married father of seven children spoke about his music and prison sentence, saying:

“I have about 500 songs at the moment. I feel that I’m making the best music I’ve ever made. The more I go through in life the better my music gets and it’s been crazy the last three years. I keep my music heartfelt and stick to making real music. I wouldn’t even say it’s hip hop music. My music is ‘reality rap’. Hip hop music can make you dance and bob your head, but it can’t make you cry or touch your heart like reality rap.”

Last October, Lil Boosie changed his name to Boosie Badazz and dropped his first mixtape since his release from prison titled “Life After Deathrow,” featuring Yo Gotti, Trey Songz, LIV and Shy Glizzy.

What do you make of Boosie’s anti-gay rant, do you agree with him?
