*By now you know Charlie Sheen has confessed that his never-ending booze and whore party has finally caught up with him, as the actor revealed Tuesday that he’s HIV positive, and while many of his former clients and lovers are lawyering up to sue Sheen for failing to disclose his health status prior to the exchange of money for their services, Magic Johnson is calling him out by saying now that he’s gone public about having HIV, they should work together to help educate people about the disease.
TMZ reports that the NBA legend says, “I wish @CharlieSheen and his family the best. With the advancement in treatments and medicine he can fight this disease and live a long life.”
He added: ”In @CharlieSheen breaking his silence, I hope he joins me in educating the world about HIV/AIDs.”
Johnson has been an advocate for HIV awareness ever since he was diagnosed – launching the Magic Johnson Foundation in 1991, which “works to develop programs and support community-based organizations that address the educational, health and social needs of ethnically diverse, urban communities.”
Sheen has yet to reply to Johnson’s celebrity HIV awareness campaign, mostly likely because he’ll have no time to fully dedicate to the cause while he’s in the midst of settling out of court with all the women he’s exposed to the virus. So far, six of Charlie’s former lovers are gearing up to sue, with more on the way.
As TMZ reports, at least “six women have lawyered up in the last 24 hours and plan to sue Sheen for intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud, sexual battery.”
A prominent Los Angeles lawyer tells the site that the women contacted him Monday, and his phone has been ringing non stop with more women calling to set up appointments to discuss their sexual history with Charlie. The women claim they had both protected and unprotected sex with Sheen, as recently as last month, and he did not disclose his HIV status.
A source connected with Sheen tells the site that Sheen has had more than 200 partners in the last 2 years, so the number of women who are suing or plan to sue will most certainly skyrocket by Christmas. Stay tuned.
Good thing Charlie made a mint from “Two and a Half Men,” cause his sexual conquests are gonna need it to pay for meds, doctors and therapy.
