*TMZ is reporting that Master P’s estranged wife is finally getting a phat payout from the music mogul, as a judge is forcing him to fork over child and spousal support in their nasty divorce war. According to the website, Sonya Miller will get $27,047 each month from the rapper/producer.
Here’s the breakdown, $16,574 in spousal support, and $10,473 in child support. In addition, P has to pay Sonya’s attorney fees … another $200k.
The judge also settled on matters concerning their ongoing battle over the family home in Calabasas – ruling that Sonya has the exclusive right to live there. As previously reported, Sonya said Master P was trying to force her out of the house because he didn’t want her laying up and partying there with her boyfriend.
These financial terms are temporary, as both sides are still sorting through marital assets, and the amount of support will likely be adjusted once that’s all added up.
Following years of nasty public spats, Master P called a truce with Sonya last year, apologizing to her on “The Wendy Williams Show.”
“I want to apologize to her, to be honest with you, because I’m not perfect. Nobody’s perfect but I’m at a good stage in my life right now,” the man behind No Limit Records told Wendy.
“I don’t have a right to say whatever she needs to do. That was just me kind of like, getting back,” P continued, admitting his wrongdoing for making drug use allegations against her. “If somebody says this about you, knowing I been taking care of somebody for 20-something years, it kind of hurt a little bit.”
Sonya denied P’s drug addiction allegation, and while he apologized to her on Wendy, he also said: ”I think a lot of people don’t know that it breaks up a lot of families, it destroys a lot of families.”
