*Michael Ealy, last seen on the big screen as Sanaa Lathan’s sociopathic stalker in “The Perfect Guy,” has signed with UTA for representation in all areas, according to trade reports.

The Washington D.C.-born actor was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005 for his role in Showtime’s “Sleeper Cell,” and also starred in Fox’s short-lived science fiction drama “Almost Human.”

He continues to be repped by manager Darryl Taja at Epidemic and attorneys Matt Johnson and Wendy Kirk at Ziffren.

The UTA deal comes following a string of successful films, including the romantic comedies “Think Like A Man,” “Think Like A Man Too” and “About Last Night.”

Regarding his own romantic notions, Ealy had a few Steve Harvey-like rules of his own before marrying his longtime sweetheart Khatira Rafiqzada in 2012. Rule No. 1: “Don’t approach a relationship from such a romantic standpoint,” he tells us.

That rule, he says, lead him directly to the altar.

As previously reported, Ealy also just signed on to star opposite Juliette Lewis on Season 2 of ABC’s anthology crime drama series “Secrets & Lies.”
