*Master P and his estranged wife Sonya Miller’s legal battle over their divorce is taking its toll on their son, Romeo Miller, who poured his thoughts out on the situation on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Romeo penned a letter about what he’s been faced with since his mother filed a lawsuit against him. As we reported, Sonya Miller cites Master P’s efforts to hid money from his divorce settlement from her as the reason behind the suit.
In the letter, he expressed how hurt he is that his mother sued him, in addition to how appalling it is that he hasn’t been able to even speak to her. In his eyes, it’s Sonya’s lawyers who are responsible for him and his mother not being able to communicate with each other.
“I haven’t spoken to my mother in months due to advice she’s taking from her lawyers,” Romeo wrote. “It sucks because the only reason I’ve ever worked so hard was to make my mother proud. I’m the one in this business and I’m the one who has been least phased by it.”
As the letter continued, Romeo voiced his hope in inspiring those who are going through a hard time as well as making them want to keep pushing and striving for better times ahead.
“I truly know and believe that GOD wouldn’t give ANY of us anything we couldn’t handle,” the 26 year-old entertainer wrote. “Each morning I wake up, I realize that I’m not only blessed but it’s another opportunity for hope.”
Despite this, the legal issues surrounding his parents’ divorce have caused Romeo to think whether or not things would have been different if he wasn’t a celebrity.
“As thankful and blessed as I am, sometimes I think things would be easier if I wasn’t famous,” he shared. “Fame for me is part of my job, but I would trade it all just for my family to have happiness once again.”
