According to Deadline, Shondaland’s Rhimes and Betsy Beers (the producers behind all three of ABC’s Thursday primetime dramas), are teaming with The Mark Gordon Company’s Mark Gordon to co-produce “My Husband’s Ex-Wife” for the big screen.

The comedy follows a young woman who is married to an older man and is newly pregnant. She finds herself dealing with a host of issues new to her, including the impact of her husband’s ex-wife being diagnosed with cancer.

Gordon, Rhimes and Beers will serve as the producers. The script is from Michelle Lirtzman, who has been a writer on Shondaland’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal.”

Gordon, also a producer on “Grey’s,” will finance the movie.

This will be Rhimes’ first feature as a producer.
