*A Tribe Called Quest will launch Friday’s re-release of their 1990 debut album “Peoples’ Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm” with a performance that night on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” – their first performance together since 2013.

The album’s 25th anniversary reissue was remastered by longtime Tribe engineer Bob Power and will feature new bonus remixes of their songs, including Pharrell Williams’ take on “Bonita Applebum,” J. Cole’s remix of “Can I Kick It?” and Cee Lo Green’s “Footprints.”

“I had this album in my head for years before I did it,” Q-Tip said in a statement. “Looking at it overall, to see the thoughts of a 16-year-old gain any kind of acknowledgement makes me feel like I have arrived … But to see it in this incarnation … I’m humbled.”

The debut re-release is the first of several reissues planned from the rap group. Their last studio album, “The Love Movement,” was released in 1998.

Their “The Tonight Show” appearance will be their first performance in two years. The group previously performed together live for two of Kanye West’s shows at Madison Square Garden during his 2013 Yeezus tour. At the time, Q-Tip announced on Twitter that it would be the group’s final shows.
