*Pregnant CNN anchor Poppy Harlow gave viewers a scare this morning when she passed out on live television.

It happened while she was reporting on Iraqi forces liberating the city of Ramadi from ISIS over the weekend. She was speaking over a graphic of poll numbers when she began to slur her words.

“We have this new CNN/ORC poll,” she says softly. “Which is quite a . . . quite a . . . turnaround . . .”

The broadcast then goes silent and Harlow is heard breathing through her microphone.

CNN switched to its media anchor Brian Stelter. But minutes later, Harlow had come to and was in the anchor chair trying to explain what just happened.

“For all of you on Twitter, who are asking if I’m OK, thank you so much,” Harlow said on the air. “I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment.”

Harlow and her husband, Sinisa Babcic, are expecting their first child in spring 2016. She told TVNewser last month, “We could not be more thrilled to have a little girl on the way. We feel blessed and are excited for the adventure ahead.”
