*Black Twitter and other amused folk have spent all day either dragging, clowning, cursing out, laughing at or earnestly trying to educate white Twitter users who think it’s racist of NBC to feature an all-black cast in tonight’s “The Wiz Live!”
“Where is the all-white cast of ‘The Wiz?’” people have actually tweeted.
Yes, many of these Twitter users crying racism are trolling, but some are not.
As you will see below, at least one man (a grown man) had never heard of the 1978 movie starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, or that the 1975 Tony Award-winning Broadway play starring Stephanie Mills even existed, or that “The Wiz Live!” is an updated version of both, or that the original “The Wizard of Oz” IS the all-white version of “The Wiz,” before he sent out the tweet: “There sure would be quite an uproar if it was an all-white cast.”
He at least apologized for his ignorance after being roasted.

Apparently white people are mad that #TheWizLive is full of black people and want a white version. This fills my laughter quota for the day.
