New Music: Jaheim Releases Mid-Tempo 'Struggle Love' (LISTEN)

*GRAMMY® Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Jaheim has released “Struggle Love,” the second single from his forthcoming album. “Struggle Love” is the title track from the new album, Jaheim’s seventh, which will release in early 2016 on Primary Wave/BMG.

In the mid-tempo song, Jaheim reminisces on the early days of a relationship when he and his love didn’t have all of the material spoils of wealth, but whose love flourished while they enjoyed the simpler things in life.

It’s classic Jaheim and provides fans with a taste of what they can expect from the upcoming album. He says, “Struggle Love” is about looking back at where you came from and telling yourself you wouldn’t mind going back there for a minute.”

Jaheim’s first single, “Back in my Arms,” a ballad that showcases the smooth R&B vocals that he is known and loved for has been on the charts for 23 weeks and counting, peaking at #5 on Billboard’s, Media Base’s and BDS’ adult R&B charts. Jaheim’s Year of Music has also been a hit on digital streams…over 1 million listeners…and 1.5 million streams for “Back In My Arms.”

While preparing for the release of Struggle Love the album, Jaheim can be seen performing in concert across the U.S., including the Christmas in the City show in Newark, NJ this past Friday night.

In addition, the release of “Struggle Love” will be followed by a music video directed by acclaimed photographer, illustrator and director, Derek Blanks.
