*Armed with a vicious comeback, Nicki Minaj took to social media to respond to a retweet posted by Bossip that credited her booty for her success.
The retweet in question came from a Twitter user who posted thoughts regarding a conversation Bossip started about the lack of female rappers in the music industry.
“Yep, men are visual creatures they don’t care if you can sing … That’s why Nicki had to buy an ass to blow up! #Fact,” the user stated.
Needless to say, it wasn’t long before Minaj reacted to the user’s comment as she testified to her current dominance while giving thanks to critics for motivating her.
“Not giving me my props doesn’t stop me from being great. I am a mogul. Your hate is what made this possible. Lol. Thank uuuuuu! Mmuuaahhh!!!,” the 33-year-old rapstress responded as she went on to cite collaborations with various rap heavyweights as proof of her ability to go “ROUND 4 ROUND” with some of the best lyricists in the game.
Minaj’s reply comes amid news of the three Grammy nominations she received last week. Two of the three nods included one for best rap album for “The Pinkprint” and another for best rap performance for her Lil Wayne and Drake-assisted hit “Truffle Butter.”
