*Omarion went on a Twitter rant Monday after finding out that his single, “Post to Be,” was ignored by the Grammys this year.
Shortly after the 2016 Grammy nominees were announced this morning (Dec. 7), the singer and “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star hit up Twitter to unleash his frustration.
The 31-year-old released “Post to Be” — a bouncy R&B number co-written by Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko — in November 2014 as part of his fourth studio album, “Sex Playlist.” Omarion thought he deserved a nod in the category of Best R&B Performance.
“The odds have always been against me. I constantly prove you wrong. I’ll consistently do great things & you will have to celebrate me,” read one of his Tweets.

“Post to be” is one of the greatest R&B collaborations ever. CB, Jhene, & myself been in the game 10+.

Even though people act like its easy to make a hit (& it’s not). As an artist you look forward to being acknowledged by the game. — OMARION (@1Omarion) December 7, 2015

This isn’t a “im upset” (post to be) rant. This is a- ok so that wasn’t good enough. I’ll be back. Have my Grammy’s ready. — OMARION (@1Omarion) December 7, 2015
The game has long changed since I was introduced to it. They want to still treat me like I’m a new to this. My moment is coming trust.

So when it’s all said & done. Remember. I prophesied it. It’s my destiny. I was destined. Chosen. — OMARION (@1Omarion) December 7, 2015
After getting all of that out of his system, Omarion congratulated the nominees in the category. The singles nominated for Best R&B Performance included Tamar Braxton’s “If I Don’t Have You,” Andra Day’s “Rise Up,” Hiatus Kaiyote’s “Breathing Underwater,” Jeremih’s “Planes” featuring J. Cole, and The Weeknd’s “Earned It” from the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack.
Congratulations to all the nominees! Enjoy this milestone.
