Raven-Symoné ‘Feels Sad’ for NeNe Leakes, Apologizes After Feud

raven-nene*Raven-Symoné is trying to clear the air with NeNe Leakes after an appearance on “The View” left her feeling a certain way. Leakes appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” earlier this month where she reflected about her Nov. 17 interview with Symoné and her fellow “The View” panelist Joy Behar.

Leakes told host Andy Cohen that the ladies served much shade, and now in a new interview with E! News, Symoné is responding to NeNe’s claims, saying she feels sad for Leakes because she’s not even sure what the problem is.

“I feel sad for her. She came to my house party. I don’t understand what happened, but that’s her right if she felt that way,” Symoné said. “Sorry, girl. My bad.”

Leakes previously told Cohen that during her “The View” appearance there were “a couple of people on that panel who were very shady.” When asked if Symoné was one of the culprits, Leakes responded, “probably.”

“I felt like they were not kind to me. I just…honestly, they weren’t kind,” Leakes told Cohen. “I could tell you that there were a couple of people on that panel who were very shady.”

While getting ready with BeGlammed at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel before her 30th birthday party at the Beacher’s Madhouse, Raven chatted with E! News to offer her side on the matter.

“I’m in a job where it’s about opinions and it’s about my opinion on certain things and so everyone gets scrutinized for their opinion even though we live in America and we’re supposed to have free speech,” she told E! News. “I think that the best way that I can handle it is say my peace, stand behind my truth and move on myself.”

Raven also said it’s easy to resist responding to the endless criticism about her controversial remarks because she doesn’t pay attention to it. “I don’t read comments when they’re negative and nasty,” she said.
