50 Cent Drops 10-minute ‘I’m the Man’ Short Film [Watch]

50 Cent *50 Cent has released a short film titled “I’m The Man” to support his Kanan mixtape. The seven-track album features collaborations with Lil Boosie and Young Buck and newcomer Post Malone.

The rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to announce that “Kanan Reloaded” will be the follow-up to the mixtape. He revealed the project’s artwork on IG Tuesday night, along with the caption, “I guess people don’t like my show, it’s to real maybe. Well who cares, I’ll make it so big that no one cares about awards anymore. Hell I can give my self a damn trophy tomorrow. KANAN ??? I’m shooting everybody fuck it.”

G-Unit Films produced 50’s crime heist “I’m The Man” video, which finds him stealing jewels, shooting women and riding off into the sunset in the end. The song is produced by Sonny Digital and takes up about half of the video, while the other half depicts the robbery-murders. Check it out below.

50 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last July, but judging by the glossy production value of the video, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper doesn’t seem at all concerned about pinching pennies. According to The Wall Street Journal, he reported assets and debts between $10 million and $50 million.

“Walt Disney has filed bankruptcy. Donald Trump has filed bankruptcy. It means you’re reorganizing your finances, but it does stop things from moving forward that you don’t want moving forward,” the rapper told E! News while promoting Southpaw. “I got a decent legal team. You don’t have to worry.”

The bankruptcy filing occurred a few days after 50 Cent was ordered to pay $5 million to Rick Ross’ baby momma who claimed he posted her sex tape online without her permission. He obtained the video from the woman’s boyfriend at the time, who appears in the sex tape with her.
